Origin larch bark

Larch trees grow here in the mountains. What is remarkable about these trees is that they develop extremely thick bark. We have collected pieces of bark that are up to 14 cm thick. Of course, we don’t cut down any trees for this. We only look for tree stumps from which we can take usable pieces of bark.
